I’ve just launched the “second” release of the java interface, with lots of nice support messages to help people get started, rather than innocuous error messages, a change of colour scheme to reflect the logos I designed, and some code optimisation.

I’ve got gMame working, but I can not figure out how to close gMame without killing it from the shell.
I currently have it set up so that the computer automatically logs in and loads gmame, but since I can’t figure out how to close it, the only solution for a system with no keyboard/mouse is to turn it off. I want to make it auto shut down when gMame is closed.
Also it would be good for the readme to have a list of keyboard commands or a way to configure them.
If you enable the forums on the sourceforge project, I will post my setup guide once I’ve got it all smoothed out.
Thanks

Thank you for your comments.
I will activate forum tomorrow – thank you very much indeed for offering to do this.
I had semi-deliberately designed software without an exit as I have the computer/cabinet set to shutdown on power button press – essentially closing the software when it goes down.
A number of things bother me at present – key config and the ability of the software to keep focus regardless of background operations, and so on.
Unfortunately I haven’t had the time and finances to continue with the project for months.
Hopefully this’ll change in the future.

I didn’t think of just making it shut down when the power button is pressed. That will work fine.
